Mealworms may appear dormant upon arrival — this is normal.
How to Revive Dormant Mealworms
- Unpack immediately and allow airflow
- Keep at room temperature (64–77°F / 18–25°C)
- Do not use external heat — warming too fast can kill them
- Gently spread worms out in their bedding
- Allow several hours for full recovery
Most mealworms will become active again if handled properly.
